Blogautomobile.fr Renault lifts a veil on the renewal of its design. On the occasion of making contact with concept cars
R-Space and
TakePicMortefontaine on the circuit near Paris,
Axel Breune gave us some keys to the revolution in progress at Renault. The arrival of
Laurens van den Acker at the head of Renault Industrial Design has instilled a sense of renewal in the offices of the French manufacturer's style even going to break down the barriers between the different teams in operation. Today all designers share the same space, and one that can shape the future Megane a look greedy on the work of his colleague busy sketching a future concept car. This new organization allows new exchanges, greater work efficiency, and marks the start of a
NEW DESIGN STRATEGY.ttp://blogautomobile.fr/wp-content/uplo ... uerite.pngThis new strategy established
a link between the brand and customer experience at each of their lives: they fall
in love, discover the world, founded a
family, work, have
recreation, and access
wisdom.
In this strategy
the life (and humans) is placed at the center, calling for
simple shapes, sensual and warm. These new formal codes will gradually declined over the entire range.
After the love and passion, themes illustrated by DeZir, customers are leaving today to discover the world on Capture, and with R-Space, it is already time for them to start a family. Things are going very fast at Renault, which is great, the design of the diamond needs a shock and strong messages to regain its former glory.
CAPTUR: Heading for adventure!http://blogautomobile.fr/wp-content/upl ... /ZCAP1.jpghttp://blogautomobile.fr/wp-content/upl ... /ZCAP4.jpghttp://blogautomobile.fr/wp-content/upl ... /ZCAP5.jpghttp://blogautomobile.fr/wp-content/upl ... /ZCAP2.jpgTo explore the world 2 Renault has a
compact SUV, and technical, but still very
sensual.
"The buxom and athletic, a cockpit warm, friendly and easy to use marked by the use of lightweight materials and very inspired by the world of
outdoor sports. Axel Breune
TakePic is nothing but the official announcement of the arrival in the Renault range of a
small urban crossover.
At trial, the very good impression given by the inner world is quickly spoiled by a very uncomfortable driving position, a roof (discoverable) who invites himself as a cap on your head and forced to sink as much as possible in the cords that serve as seat upholstery and ancillary light source very high-tech or extra storage objects by wedging between two cords. Whatever, the wheel turns at the wheel of capture, even at the cost of some back pain and leg torn, leave for a long smile on his lips. The atmosphere is very pleasant graphics, exciting color palette, and the heady scent of adventure really! The machine wins definitely be approached in motion and under natural light, far from refined and artificial car shows.

Family and sportsmanship.http://blogautomobile.fr/wp-content/upl ... 4/ZRS4.jpghttp://blogautomobile.fr/wp-content/upl ... 4/ZRS3.jpghttp://blogautomobile.fr/wp-content/upl ... 4/ZRS6.jpghttp://blogautomobile.fr/wp-content/upl ... 4/ZRS7.jpghttp://blogautomobile.fr/wp-content/upl ... 4/ZRS2.jpghttp://blogautomobile.fr/wp-content/upl ... 4/ZRS5.jpgThe message of this concept to new alliances
(family and sportiness, functionality and sensuality) is clear: Renault believe more than ever in
minivan but wants to bring
dynamism and
sensuality with the Modus, Scenic and Espace. As it stands,
R-Space announces no model but rather a series of new
philosophy. However, if the reactions are positive, it is not unrealistic to imagine a future
Renault HDG as
compact as the concept. Axel Breune recognizes that a luxury car should not necessarily be large (as is the case in the current range of diamond). The incoming class who abandons his Mercedes minivan architecture could thus leave a free space for Renault to take over the torch of the
small luxury of all trades, and queen of beautiful areas.
R-Space is designed around an interior divided into two worlds: a dedicated area before driving pleasure (the steering wheel is gorgeous!). And a rear area for children with a bench composed of
modular cubes. The esthetic is appealing but unconvincing physical demonstration ... Everything is done around the warm colors evoke the warmth of a family breakfast by Renault: white (milk), brown (chocolate), orange (the orange), yellow (honey) ...
The absence of
foot medium is she, not there just for show: Axel Breune justifies its action to announce the democratization of technology is now capable of passing the Cape of mass production (see Ford and Opel with their minivan).
This encounter with Axel Breune we will retain, besides the common passion of man for its concept cars, the clearly displayed by the management of design to
reconcile dream and reality. Gone are the concepts of "free" without a future, elitist and sources of disappointment when the client discovers "reality" of the concession line. By working almost hand in hand, designers 'concept' and designers 'series' of Renault promise to write more beautiful pages in the history of French Automotive.
Thus DeZir could become a
roadster electric competitor to
Tesla. The Renault model would be sold cheaper through mass production of batteries by the
Renault-Nissan. Dieppe, a specialist in small series, the site would iéal for its production. There remains the thorny issue common to all manufacturers desiring to produce a small sport's
profitability.
No offense to Mr. Axel Breune, the dream car has its limits ... unfortunately
Thank you at Germantown Gomez-charge e-RP Renault for this meeting with Axel Breune.
