Honda Crossroad. Naslednik modela HR-V na domačem trgu. Gre za mešanca med karavanom in SUV za 7 potnikov. Motorja sta 1,8 in 2,0, menjalnik vedno 5 stopenjski avtomatik, pogon pa na vsa kolesa.

Še en Toyotin poseben avtomobil za domači trg je bil Origin. Izdali so ga leta 2000, da obeležijo 100 milionov na Japonskem prodanih Toyot.
Origin je zaznamovala retro oblikovana zunanjost, ki si je precej oblik sposodila od prve generacije modela Crown, predstavljenega leta 1955. Zgrajen je bil na platformi Toyote Progres (še en JDM model, v bistvu podaljšani Lexus IS prve generacije).
Origin je poganjal trilitrski šestvalnik z 215 km, proizvedli pa so jih vsega tisoč.

pa saj sem toyota pa subaru freak, ampak :shock: za tole, bog jim daj zdravja, sploh tistemu ki je oblikoval tole....naj raje za mlade kaj konkretnega naredijo na pa za upokojence pred nebesi

Temu se pa res lahk reče retro design ;) Šalo na stran, meni se zdi ideja odlična, mogoče le izvedba malo šepa ... Če bi bli bl na tak princip oblikovani novi muscle avti, bi blo tud fino ;) Konkretno na tej toyotki mi je fenomenalen design zadnje šipe pa prednja maska mi je tudi huda (čeprav malo kičasta) :)

Mladi nimamo denrja - stari ga imajo. Tko da so seočitno bolj na to vrgl, kdo ima denar, da ga bo zapravljal.

Po 8. letih premora je Mitsubishi predstavil drugo generacijo majhnega ''rekreacijskega'' vozila Toppo. Gre za mestni kei avtomobil s povišano streho, kakšni so na Japonskem zelo popularni. Motor je 0,66 kubični (kar je največja prostornina, ki jo lahko imajo kei avtomobili), na voljo je tudi štirikolesni pogon. Menjalnik je 3 ali 4-stopenjski avtomatik.

Why Nissan and Prince merged.

In the mid-60's the Japanese Government suggested a number of mergers of Japanese companies to create larger companies that would be better equiped to handle any hostile takeover attempts by foreign companies. Nissan and Prince took the government's advice, and in 1966 they merged. (At the same time Toyota merged with Hino and Daihatsu.) Most of the Prince models were kept in production, but from 1967 on they were sold as Nissans or Datsuns. The Prince division still operates independently inside Nissan and is responsible for the Skyline range, including the GT-R. Today in Japan if you want to purchase a new Skyline you can not buy one from a Nissan dealer, you have to go to a Nissan Prince dealer. Even 40 years after the merger the Prince division still sells through it's own dealer network.

Peta generacija Toyotine limuzine Crown Majesta - najbolj luksuzni predstavnik družine Crown.

Toyota has rolled out a fully redesigned, fifth-generation Majesta. The car is one of the Japan market's premier domestic sedans, originally introduced in 1991, and the new model is positioned as a high-tech flagship of the venerable Crown lineup.

The redesign brings fresh sheet metal, a 3-inch-longer wheelbase and a bigger 4.6-liter V8 engine — the same silky-smooth engine as in the Lexus LS 460, albeit with power and torque wound back to 342 horsepower and 339 pound-feet. It's mated to an eight-speed transmission.

The new model comes fitted with a wealth of cutting-edge technology that enters Lexus territory. Among the items on the new Majesta are three safety-oriented items announced as world firsts: a front pre-crash safety system, pre-crash seatbacks and an SRS rear center-seat airbag. The Majesta also gets noise-reducing glass and a trick night-view system with infrared camera to pick out pedestrians and other objects in front of the car.

Toyota is again doing an 4WD version, the i-Four, which runs with the previous-generation 4.3-liter V8 (276 hp) and six-speed automatic transmission.

The Majesta's design follows the traditional sober design but the sumptuous interior lacks for little and Modellista, Toyota's custom aftermarket arm, has already introduced a couple of versions with racier styling.

With a history dating back to 1955, the Toyota Crown still has a name and heritage all of its own in Japan but has suffered, as have other luxury sedans, from the ongoing sales slump.

Zelo lep in prečiščen prednji del telega Wish-a ter preveč kiblast zadek s prevelikim odbijačem, kolesa so najmanj 5 palcev premala za skladen izgled, notranjost je pa tudi bolj dostavniška kot ne ... Vseeno pa v splošnem precej zanimiv avtomobil - škoda, da pri nas nima Toyota širše ponudbe :?

Glede na ceno je kar uredu notranjost. Za ceno od $18,482 do $23,102 ni švoh. Kot celota se mi dopade.

Med številne kontroverzno oblikovane Toyotine avtomobile sodi tudi večja limuzina Verossa. Uradno naprodaj seveda samo na Japonskem (mi dobimo samo konzervativce). Opremljena je bila z dvo- in 2,5 litrskimi šestvaljniki z močjo od 160 do 280 KM. Pogon je bil na zadnji kolesi ali 4wd. Na trgu je preživela bora tri leta (2001-2003), saj se je zaradi oblike slabo prodajala. Zamenjal jo je Mark X.

Novi Suzuki Palette SW. Gre za kei enoprostorca, dolgega manjk kot 3,5 m in opremljenega z 660 kubičnim motorjem (53 ali 59 konjev) in CVT menjalnikom. Zadnja vrata so drsna. Opremljen je tudi s kamero za vzratno vožnjo.
