Kaj ko bi - preden stresaš take - raje stopil pred ogledalo, se zamislil in morda celo pometel pred lastnim pragom? Verjamem, da je rabota tako za Toyoto kot za fane Toyote hudo težavna, a s takimi izjavami se uvrščaš direkt na (bivši) Toyotin nivo prikrivanja napak in prepoznega reagiranja. Da ne govorim o tem, da so dokazano bili mrtvi (najmanj 16) in vsaj glede tega bi lahko pokazal nek minimum pietete ter ne poskušal zavajat ter solit pameti o našem "nebranju", ko to dokazano velja predvsem zate!! Takih "advokatov" Toyota ne potrebuje - ravno spoznava, kakšno škodo so ji oz si je s tem naredila.

je se potruditi v odpravljanju problema" - vse v sedanjosti, usmerjeni v prihodnost. Niti z besedico ni odgovoril na vprašanje o prikrivanju v preteklosti, pač pa samo o prihodnosti. To je, poznavajoč etične dileme ("ne laži! itd) japonske kulture,
v bistvu direktno priznanje, da so res zakrivali, saj če ne bi, bi to Toyoda z veseljem ponavljal!

The ABC News team began investigating the issue after Toyota publicly maintained the only causes for the runaway cars were either floor mats that trapped the gas pedal or driver error. The original report revealed that more than 2000 Toyota owners had filed complaints about sudden, uncontrolled acceleration leading to hundreds of accidents and at least 16 deaths.
Many of the owners insisted floor mats or driver error were not involved in their cases, and safety expert Sean Kane of Safety Research and Strategies, Inc. suggested there could be a problem or glitch with the cars' electronic computer which controls acceleration.
Kot kaže problem torej ni samo v zatikajočem pedalu, pač pa tudi v elektronskem nadzoru plina. To pravi tudi bivši Toyotin advokat.
In Toyota tega še ni priznala, se pa raziskuje.
Celo Steve Wozniak (Apple) je imel težave in to ne s pedalom, pač pa verjetno z elektronskim nadzorom plina

In an exclusive interview with ABC News, he said his Toyota Prius has regularly been taking off on him when he taps his cruise control – with his foot off the gas pedal and floor mats not an issue.
"I think it's more likely software in my case that causes it, and I can't cause it every time and every trip, but I am sure it will happen again," Wozniak said.

Če pogledaš letnice, vidiš, da so vmes tudi taki iz leta 2004 in 2005. Misliš, da so kar naenkrat lani jeseni vsi začeli opažat težave, da prej ni bilo nobenih incidentov in nesreč? Allora preberi več in bolje.

Jamie Metzl, executive vice president of the Asia Society in New York, suggested that Japanese culture may also have contributed to possible safety problems with Toyota products by keeping company employees from coming forward.
Said Metzl, "Problems can get papered over because in Japanese society, going with the collective is more important than going against the grain. Individuals would not speak out."
Sori za dolg in morda preoster post. Zdaj boš vsaj imel kaj za brat. Žal boš spoznal tudi, da je Toyota v večjem dreku, kot si mislil.
