The Citroen Grand C4 Picasso has scored a hat-trick at the prestigious 2009 What Car? Car of the Year Awards, winning the 'MPV of the Year' accolade for the third year in a row.

The Citroen Grand C4 Picasso is the perfect vehicle for the modern family on the move. With its contemporary good looks, light and spacious cabin and clever storage solutions it's no wonder the seven-seat MPV won over the hearts and minds of the What Car? judging panel for a third successive year.

As well as being both stylish and safe, with a 5-star Euro NCAP rating, the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso has also been recognised for its environmental credentials picking up the 'Green MPV of the Year' title at What Car?'s inaugural Green Awards. The winning 1.6HDi SX emits just 140g/km CO2 making it a leaner, greener option for environmentally conscious drivers.

What Car? say "Citroen's Grand C4 Picasso is definitely that - grand. It's not just big, either; it's also versatile, stylish, easy to drive and affordable". They then go on to say "No MPV does a better job of transporting you, your brood and your gubbins" before concluding succinctly by saying "Family orientated cars don't get any better than this".

Receiving the award, Xavier Duchemin, Managing Director of Citroen UK, commented; "As Europe's most popular MPV manufacturer, we're honoured and delighted to be receiving this award for the third year running. On top of this, we're especially excited about the forthcoming C3 Picasso, which is set to complement its award winning sibling in the next few months."

Currently, all Citroen C4 Picassos, both 5 and 7 seat versions, are available with Citroen's VAT free offer, giving car buyers the chance to save up to £2,939.

CITROEN C4 PICASSO e-HDI

Both versions of visiospace Citroen , C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso will adopt the new brand image and its micro-hybrid technology, e - HDI.

undisputed success , with nearly 650,000 vehicles sold since their launch , they offer new developments in terms of style and engines.
LEDs embedded on the front bumper and allow them to be visible day and night.

The micro - hybrid technology e - HDI, combined with Stop & Start system of last generation ( manual gearbox and engine with 110 HDi - FAP particulate filter ) , generates a low fuel consumption (4.8 l/100 km) and a reduction significant in terms of CO2 emissions ( 125g/km ) .

The C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso can also be equipped with integrated service , Citroen eTouch (including: emergency calls , support / virtual logbook / eco-driving ) .

These developments will be available during the last quarter of 2010.


Listing cosmetic changes:

- Option Black Top on C4 Picasso which offers the combination of six different body colors associated with a flag and amounts glossy black;
- The location on the grille and the tailgate , the new logo, which is also the center for aluminum wheels , steering wheel pad and plip
- a unique front fascia on the two bodies, containing the version C4 Picasso ( 5 seats ), which adopts the spotlight, signing a luminous LED, active both day and night ;
- front light with flashing white ;
- taillight with a black outline on C4 Picasso
- The addition of a chrome strip on the outside door handles doors Exclusive level ;
- Adoption of a new upholstery seats and door panels on the Exclusive level .

Ah dajta no, kam bi pa vidva dala, edina alternativa je, da daš v luči tko kot pri Audijih. Drugače je pa tudi to čisto v redu izpeljano, pri Mondeu tudi.
