2007 Honda Civic Type R
Once again, we probably won't see the Civic Type R in the U.S. Pity. It's like our Civic Si but in hatchback form and turned up to 11.

It was a bone of contention that the U.S. missed out on the most potent version of the last Honda Civic — the 197-hp three-door Type R. And it seems unlikely that the Type R version of the new Civic will make to our shores because it will be built exclusively at the Honda plant in Swindon, England and uses the three-door body which is not offered in the U.S. The new Type R was presented in vivid yellow as a concept car, simply because the production version will not be available in Europe until the end of this year, after lesser three-door versions have appeared. The power supply is unchanged — a high-revving but naturally-aspirated 2.0-liter i-VTEC engine.
