Ah ja...še nekaj
Ko smo ravno pri američanih in njihovih mišicah...
Pontiac GTO, 5.7 V8, 350KM, 492Nm navora<--- :shock: 5.3 do 100...res ni klasika v smislu starosti, pa vendar zame resnično idealen in sanjski avto...konjev in navora na pretek, 4 sedeži, zadnji pogon s špero in oblika da te kap...Skratka...če bi lahko zbral en avto, bi to bil verjetno kar ta...pa sem fejst zaljubljen v vse M3-je po vrsti...ampak tole...to je pa TO !!!

Ta avto mi je pač sanjski...verjetno bo tudi za vedno ostal samo sanjski, tudi če obogatim, ker ga bi blo itak tok zaj.... dobit in vzdrževat da te prej mine :cry: ...ampak "zaljubljenost" ostaja :mrgreen:

BTW...avto se prodaja tudi v Avstraliji in Angliji pod imenom Holden/Vauxhall Monaro V8 za ceno okrog 9miljonov tolarjev...v Angliji...vendar je samo desni volan, ta ameriški pa ima seveda levega in nekaj časa se že šušlja da naj bi Opel iz tega avta naredil tudi nekaj za Evropo nekoliko bolj vzhodno od Londona. Upam da resno mislijo...:con Grem kr loto napisat...:mrgreen:

Gto mi je mnogo bolj všeč kot Mustang. Drugače pa pri togi premi se bodo vibracije vedno prenašale iz enega kolesan na drugega, pri posamičnih obesah (tudi pri najslabših) pa ne.

Pa še nekaj pol togih prem ni dobrih in slabih so vse enake, ker pri štangi na katero namontiraš dvoje koles in vmes diferencial ni kaj za računat. Lahko pa s stabilizatorji in pravimi vzmetmi malo popravljaš situacijo. A samo na popolnoma ravni cesti, pri neravninah v zavoju bo še vedno vse odskakovalo.
Vprašanje podnebnih sprememb zaradi naše potrošnje ni vprašanje stroškov, ampak vprašanje naše morale.

Si me razorožil :oops: No naj pa povem, da sem ravno to mislil...stabiji in vzmeti, optika itd...nisem mislil dobesedno dobro TOGO premo kot premo...
In sem trdno prepričan da se tale Mustang tudi po neravnih ovinkih pelje bolje(hitreje ne udobneje) kot pa kakšen avto s posamičnimi obesami in na udobje naštelanim vzmetenjem...sicer pa...za vsakogar mora bit nekaj a ne? :wink:

Seveda, kako pa bi bilo, če bi vsi vozili iste avte? :( :(
Vprašanje podnebnih sprememb zaradi naše potrošnje ni vprašanje stroškov, ampak vprašanje naše morale.

Pri temle pa je brezzveze iskati neko udobje, saj ni za to narejen. to je primer malo posodobljene klasike. po moje jim je kar uspelo, tale agresivni pogled spredaj zame odtehta tole premo, ki tebe moti...

Avto se niti v Nemčiji ne bo prodajal, tako da ne vem od kje jim ideja da se bo prodajal v Sloveniji...
Razen pri kakšnem zasebniku, tako kot v Nemčiji...
Ford pa tega avta ne bo uvažal v Evropo ;)

LA Auto Show: Giugiaro's Mustang hotness revealed!

In a late night blitzkrieg, Ford dropped all the details on Giugiaro's reinterpretation of the Mustang and words seem to fail it. The world-class coachbuilder has taken the iconic coupe and transformed it into rolling automotive pornography, leaving no body panel untouched and enlisting the help of Ford Racing to provide motivation to match its extreme design.

The bespoke creation takes all the right cues from the current Mustang, beginning with the classic front end, and then pulling the fascia down and outward to create a menacing homage to the original. Broad indentations flank the doors and lead into massive wheel arches topped with a classic crease that's brought to a point at its highest peak. Those same distinct creases define the rear end and provide a trick angle for the taillights to wrap overtop.

A single piece of glass forms the windshield and roof, which flows into the trunk lid, and the louvered glass aft of the b-pillar gives a nod to Mustangs of yore. The doors are touch operated and, when asked, pivot up from the a-pillar, while five-spoke dubs get a healthy slathering of chrome and Giugiaro's orange hue.

On the inside, the mixture of brown and butterscotch upholstery is warm and inviting, with a combination of smooth and furred horsehides covering the seats. The instrument panel houses the required duo of gauges, which snuggly fits inside a dash that flows from pillar to pillar. Custom switchgear, shifter and steering wheel all make it clearly known that this is something special, and more is on the way.

Raise the mildly bubbled hood and you'll find the stock 4.6-liter V8 from the Mustang GT, but with a twin-screw supercharger mounted on top. The intercooled powerplant receives a 95 mm mass air meter, KN-shaped filter and fuel injectors from the Ford GT, to produce over 500 HP at 11 psi of boost. The stock radiator has been nixed in favor of an aluminum Ford Racing unit, which the company claims could allow the engine to create another 200 HP without worry of catastrophe.

Although style and power are all well and good, handling must be addressed in equal parts. Thankfully, Ford Racing was tapped to provide their Handling Pack, which includes thicker anti-sway bars, lowering springs and tuned dampers, all of which is available for the base Mustang GT.

We absolutely can't wait to see this in person tomorrow, so stay tuned for more as we make our way down to the Los Angeles Auto Show.

Tak mustang kot je na prvi sliki ga ena ženska po Krškem vozi (bele barve)... ga morm slikat...

Ford je predstavil najmočnejši Ford Mustang v zgodovini. Gre za omenjeno serijo Shelby GT500KR (KR pomeni King of the Road), ki ga poganja 5,4 litrski V8 z 540 KM. Naredili bodo samo 1000 avtomobiliov. Podvozje in zavore so ustrezno prilagojeni.

Shelby Automobiles will use newly-developed Ford Racing GT500 performance packs to help transform a limited number of 2007 and 2008 Ford Shelby GT500's into fire breathing "Super Snake" coupes. The Super Snake post-title package will include enhancements to the Ford Shelby GT500's handling, styling and power; tuning options will range from a warranted 600 HP V8 to over 725 HP (unwarranted). Only a limited number of Super Snakes will be built per model year at the Shelby Automobiles facility in Las Vegas beginning in late 2007.

"My team at Shelby Automobiles is always working on new ways to build better performing cars" said Carroll Shelby. "I told them that I wanted to build a vehicle that could blow the doors off of most anything on the planet. By partnering with Ford Racing, we're giving enthusiasts a Mustang with that level of performance."

Working together at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and in Dearborn, Ford Racing and Team Shelby developed the aggressive suspension and engine package specifically for the car.

"Mustang enthusiasts are demanding more from both Ford Racing and Shelby Autos" said Jamie Allison, Manager of Ford Racing Performance Group. "The GT500 Super Snake package, with its higher horsepower levels and balanced track-inspired tuning, satisfies those demands and then some ... in a uniquely Ford – Shelby way."

In 1967, Shelby American built one 427-powered GT500 "Super Snake" for Mel Burns Ford. Carroll Shelby drove it at the Goodyear test track for tire promotion film production. That car reached lap speeds of over 150 mph and a top speed of 170 mph. The new Ford Shelby GT500 Super Snake will be equally potent.

"The name 'Super Snake' is legendary because the one that Shelby built was the pinnacle of muscle cars in 1967," added Amy Boylan, president of Shelby Automobiles. "We're bringing that concept forward 40 years for customers who own a Ford Shelby GT500. We'll give their car amazing new capabilities."

Ford Racing and Team Shelby developed the GT500 Super Snake package which will include:

* Ford Racing Supercharger upgrade kit (SuperPack 600) producing over 600 horsepower and 590 ft.-lbs. of torque
* 6-speed manual transmission with 3.73:1 rear axle ratio
* Ford Racing performance exhaust system
* Ford Racing Handling Pack offering unique performance suspension tuning including Dynamic adjustable dampers, lowering springs, tuned stabilizer bars, and front strut tower brace
* Shelby-designed Alcoa 20-inch wheels
* Ford Racing short-throw shifter
* Baer 6 piston brakes with Shelby cast calipers and larger rotors
* Front brake cooling ducts
* Unique carbon composite hood featuring classic Shelby design
* 'Shelby' lettering across the front edge of hood and rear decklid
* 'Super Snake' vehicle badging
* Carroll Shelby signature embroidered headrests and floor mats, and other Shelby designed components

In addition, while the full Super Snake package will be available exclusively through Shelby Automobiles, many of the products comprising the Super Snake package will be available from Shelby Automobiles and Ford Racing starting in June.

To je nora zadeva, men Fordov zgleda ful boljše kot tisti od Giugiara. Sicer je tud tale ful lep, ampak preveč futurističen in preveč italijanski, Mustang mora bit bolj tough oblikovan, robustno, ameriško.
