MotorAuthority je napisal/-a:Developers have been hard at work fine tuning the facelifted version of the BMW 6-series ahead of the coupe’s official unveiling at September’s Frankfurt Auto Show. Recent spy shots have revealed that the updated model will get a new bumper, revised taillights and a small bootlid spoiler, but the big news is that we’ll also see two new six-cylinder variants including an all-new 635d.
This image (prva slika), taken of the interior of one of the test-mules, was recently posted up on AutoScoops. It clearly shows the word ‘diesel’ positioned above the fuel tank gauge and confirms that there’s a new diesel 6-series in the works. The 635d will run the familiar twin-turbo 3.0L diesel engine, with around 286hp and 580Nm of torque from as low as 1,750rpm, which should be enough to accelerate the coupe to 100km/h from rest in around six seconds.
The engine in the 630i is also expected to be replaced by the award-winning petrol 3.0L twin-turbo six from the 335i coupe and should develop around 300hp (nekaj več - po zmogljivostih primerljiv s staro M3), a significant leap over the paltry 258hp of the naturally aspirated motor.
