Here are two pictures found on Saabunited we show a proposed big gig that would be realized on the basis of the new 9-5. One thing is for sure is that this car so that future cars from the Swedish illustrators and others wake photoshop . The 9-5 not immune to this rule since before the cabrio , I had already made proposals to find a Coupé 9-5.
A proposal not unpleasant though somewhat massive but I doubt that this kind of self on the basis of the 9-5 is currently in the priorities of the manufacturer of Trollhättan .

Then we learned that Victor Muller Spyker let go for sale to sell the Russian billionaire Vladimir Antonov, already associated with Victor Muller, the manufacturer of Trollhättan unveiled the first elements of the new Saab 9-5 SW (or SportCombi).
We learn that this big break will be offered for sale at the same definitions and with the same engines as the sedan and this, both gasoline and diesel. BVA6 XWD transmission and will also be scheduled for this impressive car. To meet a Swedish tradition (spirit of being lost at Volvo), the 9-5 SW Announces boot space under cover of 527 dm3 luggage and 1.6 m3 when the rear seats folded. Suitable for transporting the Swedish furniture kit, the 9.5 station wagon has a load length of 1,962 m long, which should help the transport of bulky items and other bulky cargo. The 9-5 SW also propose a subdivision of the trunk (U-Rail) and an electrically assisted opening liftgate (either by button or by remote control).

Saab 9-5 SportCombi: Configurable ... and some comments!

Saab has totally missed its launch at the Geneva show highlighting a concept car that was anything but successful and rewarding (Ah-era GM and beautiful concept cars!) and copy the gray sat on the stand Saab seemed as abandoned, neglected by both the staff people Saab by visitors who did not see him as he came incognito in Switzerland.
Hard to know why and how when he was expected and should be the star of the Swedish booth. But there are still a few tracks: the first comes from the manufacturer's current financial difficulties that stop production of 3 times in one week due to financial problems with subcontractors. We can therefore say that this model even if loan is not out yet because of budget concession for its industrialization. Phoenix would be quickly be put forward and we chose to forget the big break voluntarily so the buzz (not excellent!) Takes place around the work disappointing Castriota ... A lot of reasons why we have concerns about Saab's future because the financial problems could delay the development of the 9-3 and 9-1, which are vital. This situation is also not conducive to business as buyers, seeing the woes of the mark are tempted, at best to delay their purchase, at worst to go to the competition. I will not repeat the poor performance of distribution networks including French, where it is fine to have any "hazarding" or since with almost fifty cars sold per month, the brand has become nonexistent. I am certain that the overheads are much more expensive than auto sales relate to the point of wondering whether the best and least expensive solutions for Saab would not leave the French market in less time back on their feet financially before returning in a few years or not. Still, it communicates that Saab already a bit (but not in France) about his new estate and makes available to potential clients interested in the car, a small configurator that allows simplified to see the 9-5 SportCombi in different colors different angles and with different models of rims.

Here are a few images in this new version rather successful even if it is large and if it will require for fans to go through the box "big wheels in 18, 19 or 20 inches" for that car is a rewarding look good even with the small diesel engine TiD 160.
It remains to hope that one day this car sees the chain of production, that are new to the agenda, Jason Castriota make beautiful drawings and not ugliness and especially qu'Antonov confirm in the next few weeks as his intentions financial and industrial against Saab. If this happens, we can believe again especially if Saab do think a real launch for the 9-5 Estate at the Frankfurt show in September. I'm on a break "full op" and the sporty look with a beautiful interior would be much more effect on the media and fans that Phoenix which we hope he does not particularly reborn from its ashes for future fairs.
