Trg PC iger je v primerjavi z konzolami zelo majhen, tako ni pričakovati da bi razvijalci iger množično posegali po PC platformi. Najprej gredo tam, kjer je denar.
Ne zanemarit dejstva, da je PC trenutno še vedno "iber", samo en naslov lahko podam in to je HALF LIFE 2. Grafika, ki ji trenutno ni para(no DOOM 3 da ne pozabimo). Mrzlično čakamo na dodatek DOOM 3 ( izid 3.april 2005) in seveda STALKER (14 maj 2005-upajmo

). To so trenutni žanri, ki dominirajo PC sceno in so tudi najbolj tehnološko dovršeni.
Kar se tiče PS2-ja, sem izredno presenečen, kaj še lahko grafično iztisnejo, iz tako "zastarelega" strojčka. Posebaj v GT4 in recimo KILLZONE, ki sta kar se tiče 3D grafike na PS2, razred zase.
Treba je priznati, da pri mnogih PS2 igrah grafika zelo šepa. Lep primer je NFS Undergroun 2, ki že na XBOX-u deluje zelo medlo. Ob PS2 verziji, se pa milo rečeno, lahko samo razjokaš.
No, še "leto" dni, pa dobimo XBOX 2 in PSP 3, ki bosta postavila nove mejnike.Posebaj PS 3 procesor Cell, ki bo po številkah sodeč dal vetra tudi najmočnejši PC mrcini.....

Cell so predstavili na ISSCCju (International Solid-State Circuits Conference), daleč naj-naj-najboljša prireditev za semiconductorje. Tu so Intel, IBM,.. predstavili svoje najbolj pričakovano novost. Zahtevajo, da imaš delujoč procesor in ne samo specifikacije na papirju.
